That’s right Young Jeezy’s going to the big screen!

Rapper Young Jeezy will star in his first major film joining the ranks of countless other rappers such as T.I., Ludacris, Andre 3000, Big Boi, and E-40 who have already made their debuts on the big screen.

Multi-Platinum Rapper Young Jeezy has been casted as the “big-name hip-hop act” in writer-actor-producer Ice Cube’s latest comedy, “Janky Promoters,” which he will star in along with Mike Epps and Terry Crews, as well as produce alongside Cube Vision partner Matt Alvarez.

Directed by Marcus Raboy, who also worked alongside the 2002 “Friday After Next” alumni (Cube, Epps and Crews), “Janky Promoters” follows the shenanigans of a pair of shady concert promoters (Cube and Epps), self-described “Modesto’s finest,” who get in over their heads when they have a shot at booking a big-name hip-hop act (Jeezy). Complications come in the form of a pot-growing neighborhood nemesis named Mondo and Cube’s character’s son (Nickelodeon star Little JJ), who is under contract with the old man. (Source)

Multi-platinum status, a clothing line, and now a starring role, Jeezy wasn’t playing when he said, “First I’m gon stack some dough (and then what) then I’m gon stack some mo.”
