The WNBA 1st round draft pick, Candace Parker has proven once again that she is truly on top of her game. Adding to her list of an Olympic Gold medal, a national college championship, college player of the year awards and being the first woman to dunk in a NCAA tournament game, Parker can now say that she’s the league’s MVP as well as the Rookie of the Year. The WNBA awarded Parker with the honors last week making her the first player to win both trophies in the same season.

The L.A. Sparks’ forward averaged 18.5 points, led the league in double-doubles and rebounds and led the rookies in scoring, blocks and minutes played per game. After being a top performer throughout her college career, looks like Miss Parker is going to continue her reign. You go girl!!!!
