Even though it got a lot of flack and drew its share of criticism, it seems as if “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” series turned out to be a big hit.

According to the Bravo network, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is the biggest debut series to air on the network since their 2003 reality show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”. Over seven episodes, the series averaged 1.31 million viewers with the finale alone bringing in 2.21 million which is the most viewers of any “Real Housewives” episode period. It also came in second place as the biggest series in the franchise with the 3rd season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” taking first place.

While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, we’re sure season two is on the way.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion show airs Tuesday, November 25th @ 9pm. We here there’s going to be quite a bit of drama…as usual. Will you be watching?
