Through a deal with Roadside Attractions and Liddell Entertainment, coming to a theater near you is Emmy Award winning comedian Chris Rock’s new movie, ‘Good Hair’, which, yes you guessed it…is all about hair! With the help of co-writer, Grammy Award winning pop culture critic Nelson George, Rock is about give us the ins, outs, ups and downs of hair in the black community in a way only he can.



‘Good Hair’ is “a travelogue that explores the way hairstyles affect the activities, pocketbooks, sexual relationships and self-esteem of black people.” Rock says he got the idea for the film after his daughter came to him crying and asked, “Daddy, how come I don’t have good hair?”

With the help of Ice-T, Nia Long, Paul Mooney, Raven Symone, Maya Angelou, Rev. Al Sharpton and Marvet Britto who will share their stories and observations, Rock will tackle the task of figuring out how to answer his daughter’s question.

‘Good Hair’ premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is set to hit theaters this fall.
