A little over a month ago STACKS Magazine began featuring what we deemed as a fashion trendsetting moment in which the versatality of the pashmina and a radiant, eyecatching necklace were born again. This moment was better known as The Rock It & Roll It Style Challenge sponsored by MiMi Boutique. In case you didn’t catch the challenge from the beginning or tap in along the way you can read the intro here and click on the links below to check out each participant’s individual feature. But to quickly bring you up to speed, here’s the jist of it all….

Once upon a time there were 5 fashionably forward and stylistically fabulous dames. At some point in their lives they all decided to embark upon the world of blogging from the fashion sense with the hopes of inspiring others and opening the minds of their readers to a world that goes beyond the so called “rules” of fashion and focuses on becoming a ‘true’ you. Well some where along their paths they gracefully stumbled upon one another already having a pact in their love for fashion therefore naturally forming a bond. As their connection grew and ideas began to flourish a challenge was born…the challenge of “rocking’’ a particular item in their own way and then “rolling” in on to the next participant to do the same. Now while the host’s original plans for the items to be used were a bit thwarted by the fashion God’s blessing from MiMi Boutique things got all the more sweeter. For now there were two items to “rock” instead of the originally planned one. So the ladies teamed up and put it all in motion with the “Valerie” Pashmina” and  “Isabella Multi Color Stone Drape Necklace” .  And while they say that two heads are better than one, the power of 5 turned out to be amazing.

With that being said, we re-introduce to some and present to others the ladies of the Rock It & Roll It Style Challenge; Charee, Eboni, Lexy, Prissy, and Leslie.

Now on to the items and how they Rocked It”

MiMi Boutique "Valerie" Pashmina" and "Isabella Multi Color Stone Drape Necklace"

After seeing what these ladies did, I think it’s safe to say that both pashminas and necklaces are transformational and with the variety of styles in which we saw them “rocked”, that they are definitely a versatile blend of function and fashion. As well, it goes without saying that the elegance and vibrant beauty of each item makes it that much easier.  To read about each ladies experience check out their feature articles here…Charee; Eboni; Lexy;  Prissy  and  Leslie.
