If you are deep rooted in the music world, then we’re sure you may have heard about the drug trafficking ring and James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond. After a year long federal investigation, Mr. Rosemond (CEO of Czar Entertainment and the manager of rapper The Game) was indicted on 18 felonies involving a million dollar drug trafficking ring.  Well recently new developments have arose stating that Interscope Records’ corporate office was sited as a drop-off and pick-up location for the drugs.

The Game & James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond

According to a report published by the infamous The Smoking Gun website, a shipping company called Rock-It Cargo delivered and received several music cases allegedly containing drugs between 2010 and 2011. The cases were said to have been transported from Interscope’s Los Angelas office to a New York studio.  TSG’s report goes on to say that the shipments were delivered to New York and Mr. Rosemand’s associates would distribute and sale the drugs. The money made from the drugs were then shipped back to L.A. to the Interscope office.

Of course, the DEA was tipped off about the trafficking ring by one of Mr. Rosemond’s former associates, Khalil Abdullah.  Abdullah struck a cooperation deal with prosecutors after being pleading guilty to narcotics trafficking and obstruction of justice.  As for Mr. Rosemond, he’s currently being held without bail in Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center.

     Damn Interscope…
