Since his debut in 1991 as a member of the Leaders of the New School, rapper Busta Rhymes has been making major moves throughout his career. Well it looks as if there no stopping for Busta or any plans on slowing things down any time soon. Busta’s next major move comes in the form of signing to Cash Money Records. While this may come as a surprise to many, Busta says the deal has been in the making for quite some time now. “Birdman and I have worked together for over a decade. We’ve hustled hard and grown from friends to bosses and business partners. Our recent work together speaks for itself and this partnership shows people strength of a unified force”, said Busta about his new venture.

Weighing in on the deal, Cash Money Records CEO Brian “Birdman” Williams considers Busta to be the “perfect addition” to the YMCMB family adding that “he [Busta} is one of the strongest artists in the game and one of the best lyricists in the history of hip-hop. He is a hard worker, knows his sound and together we are going to be making hit records for years to come.”

Busta Rhymes will make his Cash Money debut in 2012. We can’t wait to see how this all pans out!
