After all that went down with the NFL lockout, it was clear that when the NBA followed suit with much tougher terms, that their issues wouldn’t be resolved as quickly. While talks between players and owners in an effort to make amends begin well before the season was scheduled to begin, here we are a few weeks into what is supposed to be pre-season and not a ball is bouncing. Now while many are wondering just how long this inability to enjoy the world of professional basketball will last, the opposing forces that are holding us back are still at odds. As of late and yet once again the NBA Players union has rejected the team owners’ latest offer and in what looks like an effort to up the ante, the players are planning to shoot their grievances to the courts and file an antitrust action against the league. Ugggghhh…this is getting out of hand! WE WANT SOME BASKETBALL!!!
