Two of Hollywood’s favorite men, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, are currently filming the upcoming movie Ride Along.  With Atlanta fastly becoming the “Hollywood” of the South, it’s not strange to see production crews on the streets at least once a month.  Therefore, it wasn’t strange that word has spread that Ride Along has begun filming in various locations around the city.

Although Ride Along was originallly owned by New Line, Universal Studios purchased the rights to the script and is in full production mode.  In the film, Kevin Hart plays the role of an elementary school teacher who is to be married soon. But, his fiance’s cop brother (played by Ice Cube) trys his best to scare Kevin off by dragging him along for a very fearful ride in his patrol car.

Ride Along is expected to be released during MLK Day weekend in 2014.
