Last night, VH1 premiered its first late night talk show, Tiny Tonight.  The one hour episode indeed grabbed the attention of the millions that were tuned in.  Starring Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Claudia Jordan, Tamar Braxton, and Trina as hosts, the ladies left no opinion unturned as they discussed various hot topics of 2012.  But, it were the topics of Beyonce’s baby bump (or lack thereof), Drake, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, and Chris Brown’s love triangle that caused the social networks to pop off. LOL…the Twitter fight between Claudia Jordan and Joseline Hernandez (LHHAtl) was down right hilarious and a hot mess “at the same damn time”.

Overall, the show was good.  However, Tamar Braxton is a talker and clearly overshadowed Tiny and Trina at certain points. The dynamics of the ladies are visible in that each portray a different type of character.  Three of them are clearly defined. But,Trina is the only one that seems questionable.  Maybe because her opinion was nuetral the entire show.  Nonetheless, the ladies did a good job and kept the audience/viewers entertained.

For those fans and lovers of borderline ratchetness, this show will sooth that craving. Outside of the cheesy “Tinies” Awards, which they can leave off the program, the highlight was Shekinah and her “Word On The Streets” parts. Her realism shines through. What you see is what you get. She stole the show.  Check out Shekinah’s hilarious segment below:
