After already making his stamp in the music world, it looks as if singer-songwriter and now producer John Legend is about to make his mark in the television industry.

We reported a few months ago that Legend had sold his family comedy series to the FOX network. Well now he’s shopped another deal with another network for yet another television show.

According to reports, Legend has sold his crime drama series, The Edge, to the USA network. The show chronicles the happenings and ordeals of “an idealistic Harvard Business School graduate named Jeff Cross who joins a progressive financial firm called Edgeton Global, where he discovers the company’s dark secrets while becoming entangled in a high-stakes FBI investigation.”

Legend and Get Lifted production company partners Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorious will executive produce the show. The trio will work hand in hand with show writers Justin Herber and Adam Hoff.

Details concerning casting and a premiere date are not yet available, but as soon as we know you’ll know.
