While she’s been getting her critiquing on as judge on the talent competition show American Idol, it appears that one of R&B’s favorites Mariah Carey has also been working on some new music.

 

The last we heard from the Grammy Award-winning songstress’ was her single “Triumphant” featuring Rick Ross which she released last year. So if you’re ready and waiting for a new album, the wait should soon be over since she has one coming out sometime this year.

 

But for now, her new song, “Almost Home”, which Carey co-produced and co-wrote will be part of the soundtrack for Disney’s upcoming movie “Oz the Great Powerful.” Listen to the upbeat song below and let us know what you think.
