But, in 2013, she had regained her throne as Forbes Celebrity 100’s number one lady. Earning a whopping $77 million this year, Oprah beat out her close competitors which included Lady Gaga (#2, $80 million) and Steven Spielberg (#3, $100 million). Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list is determined by several factors: yearly estimated earnings, number of times celebrity is mentioned in print and on TV, social network strength, and desirability the celebrity is to marketers. So although Spielberg is estimated to make more money this year than Oprah, the OWN network founder is overall a more influential celebrity. The top ten rounded out as follows: 1.
