On July 4, Samsung allowed 1 million Galaxy owners the opportunity to be the first to receive Jay-Z’s Magna Carter Holy Grail.  The download app hit phones at 12am and for the next 24 hours social networks were ablaze with chatter about the new album. Although, some experienced trouble with the app crashing, those that heard the entire project was pleasantly surprised. Often labeled as another “classic” by the Brooklyn rapper, Jay-Z stays true to his art form and ability to kill the game with each verse.

To celebrate the occasion, Samsung hosted the official release party in Brooklyn. Jay-z and his wife Beyoncé were seen getting their two-step on all night. Many of Jay’s  industry friends were in attendance like Timbaland, J. Cole, Busta Rhymes, Nick Cannon, and Tyson Beckford.  Also, his sisters Michelle and Andrea Carter came to support their brother. Other attendees included Adriene Baillon, Emily B, Raekwon, and local business associates.
