On Friday, September 13, Tamar Braxton had her Love and War album signing at the D.T.L.R.-Camp Creek store located in East Point, Georgia. After fans piled in to have their albums signed and snap a photo or two with Tamar, the reality TV star/singer sat down for a brief Q&A with Atlanta’s V-103FM.  During the Q&A, Tamar talked about her album, bad experiences, becoming a mom,  and being serious about your craft. “Practice and stay in you lane” is also a bit of advice that Tamar gave for people trying to reach that impossible dream.

I, Abner, asked Tamar what should we expect from her upcoming Christmas album and ‘Love and War’ book.

“The ‘Love and War’ book is not named after the album. The ‘Love and War’ book is a relationship self-help book. I tell you my story, my whole career before I met Vince and then Vince tells you his story and then we tell our story together, it’s very interesting,” stated Tamar.

“My Christmas album I’m so excited about it; it’s very romantic. Everything that I’m doing right now, because where I am in my life, is very kind of “relationship” driven. Because “Tamar and Vince” the first season means so much and writing the album Love and War. Everybody spirit was on the love side, but sometimes love can feel like war. That’s why I have all this relationship stuff coming out, it means so much and thank you so much.”

Tamar Braxton’s Christmas album is scheduled to come out in October and her ‘Love and War’ book will hit shelves in November of this year. In recent news, Tamar’s Love and War album debuted Number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and Number 1 on the Billboard R&B chart selling over 114,000 copies. In October 2013, Tamar will be performing on the “Made To Love” tour with John Legend.

Tamar has a very bright future ahead of her along with a great album. She will be in the spotlight for a while.
