The Cleveland Browns traded Running Back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2014 1st round draft pick. Richardson was the Browns first round pick in 2012 and 3rd overall pick. Richardson led the team in rushing with 950 yards and 11 touchdowns, both were Browns rookie records. Running Back Vick Ballard led the Colts in rushing last season with 814 yards and only two touchdowns. Quarterback Andrew Luck led the team in rushing with five touchdowns. Ballard is out with a season ending injury and Richardson is a upgrade at the Running Back position.

Richardson also had 51 catches last season finishing second on the team and seventh among all running backs in the NFL. The Colts now have 2 of the 3 players taken in the 2012 NFL Draft, Luck was the first overall pick. This season Richardson only has 105 yards rushing and running back Ahmad Bradshaw is leading the Colts in rushing with 91 yards. The Browns now have two picks in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and looking to draft their Quarterback of the future. The trade can be a win-win situation for both teams. The Browns win if they draft a star Quarterback and Colts win if Richardson stays healthy and turns into an elite Running Back.
