50 Cent can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

 

On Monday, 50 Cent was found not guilty of domestic abuse against a former girlfriend. In June, police were called out to the apartment of Daphne Joy because of accusations that 50 kicked her in the face. According to police reports, 50 stormed into her apartment, ransacked her spot, and kicked her. The “kick” was allegedly committed after Joy hid in a closet and he later kicked the door down.

 

The incident warranted 50 Cent several charges which included 1 count of domestic violence and 4 counts of misdemeanor vandalism. [READ THE FULL STORY HERE]

 

The rapper pleaded “no contest” to vandalism and has been ordered to serve 3 years of probation and pay $7,100 in restitution. He is also ordered to take 12-months of domestic abuse classes.

 

His attorney Scott Leemon says that Mr. Jackson is pleased that the case is resolved and that the domestic violence charge was dropped. (AP)
