50's 50th Law Lands On Top

Kudos for Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson for reaching out to the kids in Los Angeles.  In a new reality show, 50 Cent and Jamie Oliver come together to help inspire trouble teens. “Dream School” will offer 15 Los Angeles teens the opportunity to learn first hand how to become successful in areas such as politics, music, science, and film. In a recent interview, 50 Cent expressed how sometimes it take a pop icon to deliver a message to teens that others can’t seem to get them to understand.

“I think it’s easier to receive messages that are not traditional, especially if it’s someone that’s an icon or someone that’s familiar in pop culture. It allows the kids to not be blocked by feeling like this person doesn’t actually understand or doesn’t relate to what’s going on at the moment.”

“Dream School” will premiere on the Sundance Channel, Monday, October 7 at 10/9c.
