Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl  Wide Receiver, Julio Jones, will miss the remainder of the 2013 season due to injuring his fractured foot. Jones is the Falcons leading receiver and also is leading the NFL in receptions this season with 41 before the injury. Jones suffered the injury during the Falcons lost on Monday night to the New York Jets.  The Falcons have been battling injuries since the season began, newcomer Running Back Stephen Jackson hasn’t played since Week 2.  Wide Receiver Roddy White is also expected to miss the Falcons next game or possible more.

Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon suffered a foot injury and expected to be out at least till Week 11. Tight End Tony Gonzalez and Wide Receiver Harry Douglas are going to have to fill the void for White and Jones if the Falcons stand any chance of making the playoffs.  Their defense will have to step their game up and shut down their opponents. The Falcons have one of the deepest teams in the NFL, but they have been hobbled by injuries. It look like it will take a miracle for them to make the playoffs and overcome Jones injury.
