Grammy nominated musical artist Musiq Soulchild recently GOT AMPED with the co-star of VH1’s hit series “Marrying the Game” Tiffney Cambridge because loved ones are dying from breast cancer. To drive the message, “Don’t Wait. Why Wait? Cancer Doesn’t” and encourage all to learn the facts, they were joined by Grammy Winner Milwaukee Buck (Mix Engineer & Producer), Jasmine Sanders (Co-Host of the D.L.Hughley “In The Afternoon Show”), Herkules (National Radio Host), Nicole Chaplin (Celebrity Fitness Trainer & Author), and a few other celebrities to raise awareness for breast cancer. With the awareness month in full gear, Musiq SoulChild took out time from promoting his reggae duet (with Syleena Johnson) album, “9INE” and joined a few soulful individuals intent on ensuring that important facts and prevention messages reached the masses. To do this, they were part of a public service announcement that aired on VH1s website after the season finale of “Marrying the Game”.

THEY ARE AMPED!!!

According to the The American Cancer Society, about 2,240 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among men, in 2013. The United States Cancer Statistics states that 40,676 women in the United States died from breast cancer, in 2009 AND The American Cancer Society estimates that close to 39,620 women will die from breast by the close of 2013. All involved in the campaign have been impacted by cancer in some way. Tiffney’s mom died of breast cancer 8 years ago. Herkules is a child cancer survivor. Musiq is a long-time advocate of prevention and doesn’t hesitate to help raise awareness.

They are AMPED so that NO MORE LOVED ONES will die!

They are AMPED because …

EVERYONE IS AFFECTED BY BREAST CANCER!

  • Sisters. Mothers. Brothers. Aunts. Fathers. Daughters. Cousins. Friends. Grandparents.
  • About 410 men will die from breast cancer. (The American Cancer Society 2013)
  • African-American women are more likely than all other women to die from breast cancer. (Office on Women’s Health)
  •

They are AMPED for all to learn the facts.
