LOL…“I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding” has been very entertaining these last two episodes. After having missed episode 3 last week, I decided to watch it at 8pm in order to catch up on the drama. It was definitely worth the wait.  My eyes and ears got all that it hoped for two hours straight.

First off, the shade thrown between Diana and Marlo hadn’t slacked up. In fact, the two has somehow included a third person, Lexis . Lexis is a long time friend of NeNe’s who insists that Diana is controlling and possessive.  This revelation she shared privately with NeNe, somehow became the fuse that sparked an all out argument inside of L.A.’s Mr. Chow restaurant.  But, this post isn’t really about that incident. Instead, it’s about the wedding planner and her shenanigan’s that captured viewers attention in episode 4.

Tiffany Cook is an experienced wedding planner, based out of Atlanta, that was referred to NeNe by RHOA’s Porsha Stewart.  NeNe’s dislike on how Tiffany was handling the pre-wedding plans created a strain in their working relationship. In the end, the sh*t hit the fan!

Tiffany’s work background with sports athletes, Michael Jackson (she claimed), and other notables didn’t really mean much to NeNe.  During the show, NeNe complained about how Tiffany didn’t  follow-up on calls. She didn’t provide any sketches or mock-ups of what the wedding and reception would look like. Heck, the wedding planner hadn’t even given NeNe an estimated budget.   This cause major friction between them, which ultimately made NeNe decide to fire her and hire another planner (Tony Conway).

What do you think?  Was Tiffany Cook slacking on her job?

In my opinion, YES she was!  NeNe Leakes and I can relate in that we both prefer “details.”   I don’t care if you planned a party for the Queen Elizabeth. I would still want to know what you are working on day-to-day and how much it is costing.  The fact that she hadn’t even given NeNe a budget (from the start) is baffling to me.  That’s one of the first things a planner does. And like Tony Conway, planners ask for at least 25% to 50% down payment before any work is done.

So, Ms. Tiffany Cook…this really put a damper on her business.  If not with the Caucasian community, it has with the African-American community.  Even if she win the defammation suit against NeNe Leakes, her business’ reputation is already tainted.
