The Seattle Seahawks defeated the St. Louis Rams, 14-9. Seahwaks Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rams Quarterback Kellen Clemens threw for 158 yards, with 2 interceptions and no touchdowns. The Rams had 329 total yards compared to the Seahawks 135 total yards, then out-rushed the Rams 183 yards to 44 yards. Rams Rookie Running Back rushed for 134 yards and averaged 5.2 yards a carry.

Seattle improves to 7-1 and this is their best start in franchise history. Seattle is still leading their division with a slim lead and the San Francisco 49ers trail them by one game. The Rams are now 3-5 and in jeopardy of making the playoffs. Their starting Quarterback Sam Bradford is out for the season due to injury. Rams Kicker Greg Zuerlein missed a 50 yard field goal in the fourth quarter and could have won the game by kicking another field goal due to the Rams being in the red zone at the end of the game.
