Iamsu

Iamsu! has been ringing in my ear over the past year now. The California-born 22year old is clearly making waves in the music industry. With his breakout appearance on Loverance’s hit song “Up!”, Iamsu has carved an unique path of success with his catchy and upbeat wordplay.

His new joint “Hipster Girls,” from his KILT 2 mixtape, Iamsu! gives praise to girls that look good but still have goals.  Directed by Aris Jerome, took to the streets of San Francisco to capture the essence of the song. The song’s producer Trackademicks says the song represents Iamsu! and the HBK gang perfectly.

“Su and HBK are some of the coolest dudes, not just cool in the hip, swagger out sense, but that real chill California cool you see in the movies. That unforced cool is what many strive for and that’s what a lot of these girls embody. The song is a celebration of all those female macks we see out here in traffic who aren’t afraid to go after what they want.”
