Garrett Hartley kicked a 31 yard field goal as time expired to give the New Orleans Saints a 23-20 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The Saints got the ball back with 1:41 remaining and went 6 plays for 40 yards to setup Hartley with the field goal. Saints Quarterback Drew Brees threw for 305 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception and Wide Receiver Marquis Colston became the Saints all-time leader in yards receiving. 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick passed for 127 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception, this was his fourth straight game passing for under 200 yards. Hartley made 3 field goals to help the Saints improve to 8-2 and the 49ers are 6-4 and have lost two games in a row.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 27-17 and handed the Chiefs their first loss of the season. The Broncos was the first team to score over 17 points this season against the Chiefs. The Broncos set a NFL record by scoring 25 points or more in 15th straight regular season games. Quarterback Peyton Manning had a great game passing for 323 yards and 1 touchdown for the Broncos and Chiefs Quarterback Alex Smith threw for 230 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Broncos and Chiefs are both 9-1 now and the Broncos are undefeated in the AFC West division. These teams will meet again on December 1st for their last season matchup and they could possibly meet for a third time in the playoffs.
