Designers and product merchandisers beware!!! Kanye West is on a rampage and it doesn’t look as if he’s going to stop any time soon.

 

As we’ve seen and heard, West has been on this anti-fashion industry rant lately. He’s had quite a few choice words for the international fashion community (i.e. Louis Vutton) not allowing him and his design team become apart of their world. Well, he has know took a jab at a popular merchandise e-commerce CEO and his website, Zappos.com.

 

During a podcast with novelist Bret Easton Ellis, West was captured saying, “I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this sh-t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling sh-t product.”

 

Zappo’s CEO Tony Hseih didn’t appreciate West’s claim.  So without saying alot, Hseih created a product aiming at the Chicago rapper.

The “Sh-t Product” is being sold online on Zappos.com for $100,000.  According to the item information outlined on the website, this may be the perfect jab back at West.

But, I do wonder if all of this ranting Kanye is doing is just a publicity stunt. I mean…his Yeezus tour is going on now and what better way to help sell out shows.  As long as you keep your name in the news, you keep the attention on you..right???
