The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Indiana Pacers 106-102 in a match-up with two of the hottest teams in the NBA. The Blazers are now 15-3 and have won 13 of their last 14 games. All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge led the Blazers with 28 points and 10 rebounds. The Pacers are 16-2 and still have the best record in the NBA.

Star player Paul George scored a career high 43 points for the Pacers and made 7 three pointers. George became the first Pacer since Reggie Miller to score 40 points and have 7 or more 3 pointers in a game. Damian Lillard scored 26 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and led the Blazers with 2 blocks. Roy Hibbert had a double-double for the Pacers with 16 points and game high 14 rebounds.

The Pacers and Blazers have the best record in their conference and will meet again February 2nd. If they continue to have the best record, they could possibly meet in the NBA Finals.
