On December 7, Future Vision event center was the site for the 2014 Spring Collection Fashion Show. Four (4) innovative and diverse designers came together to put on a great show for fashion enthusiasts and industry insiders. One of the designers was 11-year old Imani Alsobrook, which we featured on our site earlier this month [READ HERE]. Imani’s group of models graced the runway in her one-of-a-kind designs from her Peachie Pi collection. The other three designers were much older, but debuted designs that effortlessly showed the transition from child to adult.  Those three designers were Manufactured Products, Sir Algernon, and Sacred Heart Collection.

Manufactured Products is the brainchild of designer Damien Sheppard. He is a native of Ohio, but decided to bring his custom-made garments to the Atlanta area.  According to the official press release, Manufactured Products is a fusion of casual and semi-formal wear with an urban flair that embodies the entire manufacturing process. The 2014 Spring Collection’s main focus are the custom jackets. The jackets contain various elements like zebra print, floral, and denim. Sleek pants are paired with each jacket for the complete look.

Sir Algernon designs shows us how far concepts can be visually materialized. His high-end couture garments have been worn and seen on some of the most highlighted runways in the business. Last year, Algernon Johnson debuted Sir Algernon at the 2013 New York Fashion Week.  The signature white and black custom designs are draped with splashes of color. This design concept is just one of the reasons many of your favorite celebrities call on him. Algernon has worked with Mary Mary (Gospel artists), Momma Dee (Love and Hip Hop Atlanta), Vonnie Lopez (Gospel Artist), and more.  His love of the woman’s silhouette is evident in his long gowns and satin tops.

Sacred Heart Collection has been seen on many celebrities and in magazine editorials (i.e. “Tiny” Harris (Singer/Actress), Meagan Good (Actress), Lauren London (Actress, “The Game”), British Vogue, etc). Brandi Russell‘s flirtatious women’s clothing line is just enough to turn heads without seeming too attention-deprived. During the 2013 New York Fashion Week, Brandi debuted three new designs: Anabelle, Claire, and Madysen.  These designs were showcased at this event garnering rave reviews.
