The San Diego Chargers went on the road to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 27-10 in a Wild Card matchup.  This was the Chargers fifth straight win and the Chargers become the only team to beat the Bengals at home this season.  Chargers Quarterback Philip Rivers completed 12 out of 16 passes for 128 yards and 1 touchdown to Tight End Ladarius Green.  Chargers Running Backs Ronnie Brown and Danny Woodhead each had a rushing touchdown, Brown led the team in rushing with 77 yards.  Bengals Quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 334 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions and had 2 fumbles.  The Chargers will go on to face the Denver Broncos for a third time next week and the winner will play in the AFC Championship game.

Phil Dawson kicked a 33-yard field goal as time expired to lead the San Francisco 49ers to a 23-20 victory over the Green Bay Packers in a Wild Card matchup.  49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw for 227 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception and led the team in rushing with 98 yards.  49ers Wide Receiver Michael Crabtree had 8 catches for 125 yards, both game highs and 49ers Running Back Frank Gore had 66 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown.  Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 177 yards and 1 touchdown, Rookie Running Back Eddie Lacy led the Packers with 81 yards rushing.  The 49ers travel to Carolina next Sunday to face the Panthers and try to advance to their third straight NFC Championship game.
