On Tuesday night (Jan 13), “R&B Divas” very own KeKe Wyatt returned the love to all of her Atlanta supporters at her ‘Fan Appreciation Party’.  The event took place at the stylish 200 Peachtree, located in the downtown area. Fans of the singer came out to support the new season of TV One’s hit reality show and see a special performance. In attendance were her cast mates, Angie Stone, Monifah, and Syleena Johnson. Other celebrities and industry notables in the building were Egypt Sherrod (radio personality/host), Derek J (“Fashion Queens”), Mimi Faust (“Love & Hip Hop ATL”), rapper Da Brat, Bobby Valentino, Dondria, Gary Wit Da Tea and Juicy (“Ricky Smiley Morning Show”), Kalenna Harper (“Love & Hip Hop ATL”), Amanda Cole (from Envogue), Kash Howard (stylist), Yung L.A., Demetria McKinney, and many others.

The venue was filled with, not only fans, but the show’s production crew. The party was actually being filmed as part of KeKe’s story line for next season. This is probably why her performance didn’t begin until a couple hours after the crowd arrived. However, this was cool for most considering there were several bar set-ups and DJ A-One (“Kandi Koated Nights”) on the turntables. As soon as the songbird hit the stage, though, we were all ready for an outstanding performance. And that’s what we received.

KeKe Wyatt is definitely anointed. The girl can sho’nuff SANGGGGG!!!! She started the show off with several new songs, which we expect to be included on her next album. After going into her Avant-assisted, “You & I”, she called up her background singers to do their thing. Although we were at a party, it felt like church. Several gospel songs were sung and everyone in the place were close to catching the Holy Ghost. The event was pulled off quite well. It’s hard to say when and where the drama took place. But, we guess we’ll have to wait and see when “R&B Divas” returns.
