DJ Nando is best known for his time spent on the CTE roster as Young Jeezy’s official DJ. He helped propel the successful careers of many artists through heavy rotation in Atlanta strip clubs. The use of strip clubs to break records, as we know it today, was primarily started by DJ Nando and the Coalition DJs. To their credit, the Coalition DJs were recently recognized by the WallStreet Journal for their major contribution in the Atlanta music scene (read here).

DJ Nando was also the in-house DJ during the infamous “Monday Nights” at Magic City.  Most recently, he’s been spinning at Onyx.

The news come as a shock to many of his peers and friends in the music business. Many remember him as a “real cool dude.”

As more news surfaces, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Rest in peace DJ Nando!
