Comedian and star of “Fashion Police”, Joan Rivers, may have taken a joke a little too far this time. As a comedian who has been in the business for decades, you would think she’d know what’s a “low-blow”. Well, according to the AP, she recently made an insensitive joke about the women held captive in Ohio.

While making an appearance on NBC’s “Today” show to talk about her reality show, Rivers jokingly stated that “those women in the basement in Cleveland had more space,” as she explained her living arrangements. The women who had to endure years of living in captivity quickly issued a statement through their attorneys stating that Rivers joke was hurtful and shocking.

Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus are demanding an apology from the legendary comedian. Unfortunately, no comment has been issued by Rivers camp.

Really?! Does Joan Rivers have the right to make a joke about anybody??
