The Heat were able to steal a win after being lit up by J.R. Smith. Smith set a Knicks franchise-record by hitting 10 three-pointers against the Heat. Smith finished the game with a team-high 32 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

Carmelo Anthony finished the game with 13 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds; Anthony only made 4 out of 17 shots. The Heat have the best record in the Eastern Conference now and improve to 53-23. The Knicks are now 33-45 and are two games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the final playoff spot in the East. The Knicks have now lost two games in a row and lost the season series 3-1 to the Heat.
