ScoreBoard: Spurs Defeat Heat, 110-95, In Game One of NBA Finals

The San Antonio Spurs came from behind and outscored the Miami Heat 36-17, in the fourth quarter, for a 110-95 victory in game one of the NBA Finals. Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Tony Parker had 19 points and 8 assists for the Spurs. Manu Ginobili came off the bench to score 16 points and had a game-high 11 assists for the Spurs. The Spurs had seven players that scored 9 or more points and the Spurs made an impressive 58.8% shots from the field. The Spurs made 13 out of 25 of their 3-pointers, Ginobili and Danny Green made three each.

LeBron James had a game-high 25 points before leaving the game in the fourth quarter due to cramps. Dwyane Wade had 19 points for the Heat. Chris Bosh had 18 points and team-high 9 rebounds for the Heat. Ray Allen came off the bench to score 16 points with game-high 5 steals for Miami. The Heat were outrebounded 39 to 29 by the Spurs and the Heat didn’t have a problem taking the ball from the Spurs, they finished with 14 steals. The Heat made 47.4% of their shots from the field.

 

The Heat will need to rebound more and shoot better the next game, having LeBron James for the whole game will definitely help a lot.
