Paul Pierce agreed to sign with the Washington Wizards for two years for a deal worth $11 million. Pierce averaged a career-low 13.5 points and 4.6 rebounds last season with the Brooklyn Nets. Pierce had spent his whole career with the Boston Celtics before being traded to Brooklyn during the offseason. Pierce will mostly likely replace Trevor Ariza as the Wizards starting small forward. Ariza recently signed with the Houston Rockets as a free agent. Pierce will give the Wizards a better shooter and a veteran with championship experience.
