Washington Mystics Earns 4th Straight Win; Holds Second Best Record in the East

On Sunday night (July 27), Ivory Latta scored a game-high 21 points to help the Washington Mystics defeat the Atlanta Dream 77-67. Latta had a team-high 6 assists and help lead the Mystics to their fourth straight win. Kara Lawson came off the bench to score 14 points for the Mystics. Tierra Ruffin-Pratt scored 13 points off the bench for the Mystics. Emma Meesseman had 9 points and team-high 8 rebounds for the Mystics. The Mystics improve to 13-13 and have the second best record in the East Conference.

Sancho Lyttle had a team-high 19 points and team-high 8 rebounds for the Dream. Angel McCoughtry had 12 points, team-high 6 assists and 4 rebounds for the Dream. Tiffany Hayes had 12 points and 4 assists for the Dream. Erika de Souza had 6 points and 7 rebounds for the Dream. The Dream are on a four game losing streak and are 15-9. The Dream still have the best record in the East and won the season series 3-1 against the Mystics.
