Philadelphia Eagles Kicker Cody Parkey made a 31-yard field goal as time expired to help the Eagles defeat the Indianapolis Colts 30-27. Eagles Quarterback Nick Foles threw for 331 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Eagles Running Back LeSean McCoy led the Eagles with 79 yards rushing and also had a rushing touchdown. Eagles newcomer Running Back Darren Sproles rushed for 26 yards with a rushing touchdown and had a game-high 7 catches and game-high 152 yards receiving. Sproles had a breakout game and his ability to put up a lot of yards from scrimmage is what the Eagles were looking for when they signed him in the offseason. Eagles Wide Receiver Jeremy Maclin caught the only touchdown from Foles and finished with 4 catches for 45 yards. The Eagles improve to 2-0 and lead the NFC East division.

Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck passed for 172 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Colts Running Back Trent Richardson rushed for 79 yards and Running Back Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 70 yards. Colts Wide Receiver T.Y. Hilton led the Colts with 6 catches for 65 yards. The Colts are 0-2 for the first time since Andrew Luck was drafted three years ago. The Colts travel to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars for their next game and the Jaguars are also 0-2. The Colts will need to win the division game against Jacksonville. The Colts rushing attack looked a lot better than it did in the first week and if both running backs can play like this every week Luck will finally have a legit rushing game, something he has yet to have since arriving in Indianapolis.
