How do artists maintain success?  One definite way is to make the right investments. And this is what, Miami-native Rick Ross has done with the millions he’s made through rapping.

A few years back, Rick Ross, franchised his first Wing Stop restaurant in Memphis, TN.  Now, the Maybach Music Group CEO owns over 20 restaurants around the U.S. Recently, Zack O’Malley Greenburg, of Forbes.com, met Rick Ross at his Brooklyn location to discuss the business of wings.

During their discussion, Ross spoke on why he chose Wing Stop as an investment opportunity. He states that he preferred to support that brand instead of starting his own “Rick Ross Wings” brand.

“Let’s not gamble on it. Let’s get on the winning team and take it to the next level.”

In addition, Rick Ross reveals that initially the franchise was averaging $6,000 to $7,000 per week. Then, their bottom-line eventually grew to $20,000 per week.

If this isn’t motivation, we don’t know what is!
