Foul On The Play: Buffalo Bills Lose Top 2 RBs to Injury

Buffalo Bills leading rusher C.J. Spiller will miss the remainder of the season with a broken collarbone injury. Spiller suffered the injury in the Bills 17-16 victory against the Minnesota Vikings. Spiller finished the game with 1 rush for 53 yards and 1 catch for 3 yards before leaving the game. The Bills also lost second leading rusher Fred Jackson to a groin injury and he could miss up to a month.

The Bills have won two or their last three games since Kyle Orton took over as Quarterback. Losing both of their Running Backs will hurt Buffalo and Running Back Anthony Dixon led the Bills in rushing attempts against the Vikings. Jackson is the Bills number two receiver and is currently second on the team in receptions. Jackson is a Running Back that can catch the ball and the Bills will need their Wide Receivers and Tight Ends to step up now. The Bills are 4-3 now, are one game behind the division leader in the AFC East and if the playoffs started today they would make the playoffs with the sixth best record in the AFC.
