La Perla Redesigns and Redirects + Set to Open First Ever Store in the South

LA PERLA ATLANTA AT BUCKHEAD FACADE

Women who love lingerie – and the men that love to see their women with it on – will be excited to hear that La Perla has changed its image and will be opening its first ever Southern location in Atlanta.

To remain an industry’s top leader in high-end under garments, La Perla began the transformation earlier this year at their flagship stores in Milan and London. Boutiques were redesigned under the creative guidance of architect Roberto Baciocchi. He was also responsible for the Prada, Miu Miu, and Church’s stores.

The new La Perla stores were inspired by the Castelvecchio Museum in Verona. Shades of pale blue, dusky pink, and daffodil yellow were chosen as the color scheme. The main attraction, however, is the gateway in front of the fitting rooms. Symbolically, the gateway marks the space devoted to intimacy, creating an exclusive place in which femininity reigns. Besides a “service” bell in each fitting room, La Perla also provides private space for their VIP customers.

On December 18, La Perla will open its doors in Buckhead Atlanta. This will be the Italian lingerie retailer’s first ever flagship store in the South.

The 1,870 square foot of luxury space will be located on Boiling Way, which sits between Peachtree and East Paces Ferry Road. The photo above represents what the store will look like from the exterior.

Stay tuned for more information on the grand opening!
