Rockets Beat Spurs, Improve to NBA Best 6-0

Dwight Howard had game highs of 32 points and 16 rebound to help the Houston Rockets defeat their in-state rival San Antonio Spurs 98-81. The Rockets improve to 6-0 and have the best record in the NBA. James Harden had an all-around game with 20 points, 6 rebounds, game-high 6 assists and game-high 3 blocks for the Rockets. Jason Terry came off the bench making 4 out of 5 three-pointers and finishing with 16 points for the Rockets. The Rockets held the Spurs to 29 first half points while the Rockets scored 45 first half points.

The Spurs were led by Cory Joseph 18 points off the bench. Aron Baynes had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Spurs. The Spurs were without starters Tim Duncan, Tiago Splitter and their Sixth Man Manu Ginobili. The Spurs struggled making 34% of their shots and made a horrible 2 out of 20 three-pointers making 10% of them. The Spurs are now 2-2 and this was a game when nothing went their way. The Rockets got an easy victory and look to go 7-0 when the face the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
