According to studies done at the Rich Habits Institute, about 81% of the wealthy maintain a to-do lists opposed to only 19% of the poor. Go figure.

On the grand scheme of things, the wealthy having a to-do list makes sense, since they seem to actively work towards their goals to achieve them. How else could they do so without some sort of plan of action? But, having a to-do list may not be the only secret to success. That same study also found that 67% of the wealthy watch less than one hour of TV a day opposed to 23% of the poor. This suggests that the wealthy don’t focus a lot of their time on distractions. They are actively doing what most people won’t do so they can live like most people won’t.

While we all have dreams and goals, it seems to be more beneficial if people break down their New Year’s resolutions into daily to do lists. Spend more energy crossing off tasks they’ve been putting off. Also, avoiding major distractions,so that they’ll be a step closer to living the life of their dreams.

By making those adjustments more frequently, anyone can increase their likelihood of success.
