Ever wondered what the trap life is really like in the Black Mecca of the South?? Well, one media company is taking an in-depth look into the inner workings of the street and its influence on the Atlanta rap scene.

VICE’s music channel, Noisey, will premiere the first episode of a new 10-part documentary series about Atlanta’s hip-hop scene on January 13, 2015. Noisey Atlanta will connect rap lyrics to what’s really going on in the projects and dead end neighborhoods of Atlanta. Starring in the series will be Gucci Mane, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Jeezy, iLoveMakonnen, T.I., Mike Will Made It, Metro Boomin, 808 Mafia, Curtis Snow (Snow On Da Bluff), ATL Twinz, the Atlanta Police Department, and more. Hosted by Thomas Morton (VICE.com, VICE on HBO, Noisey) and directed by Andy Capper (Reincarnated, Noisey Chiraq).
