Blake Griffin Named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week

Los Angeles Clippers Forward Blake Griffin was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for games played November 24th-30th. Griffin led the Clippers to a 4-0 record while averaging 23.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Griffin had his best game of the week against the Charlotte Hornets scoring 22 points, grabbing 16 rebounds and dishing out 9 assists in a 113-92 win. Griffin had another all-around game with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 104-98 victory against the Detroit Pistons.

Griffin had 30 points and 10 rebounds in a 102-85 victory against the Houston Rockets. Griffin had 28 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in a 112-97 victory against the Utah Jazz. Griffin is averaging 22.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists for the season. The Clippers are 11-5 now and on a four-game winning streak.
