Falcons Defeat the Cardinals 29-18

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Arizona Cardinals 29-18 to improve to 5-7. Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan threw for 361 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Falcons Wide Receiver Julio Jones had 10 catches and season-high 189 yards. Falcons Wide Receiver Harry Douglas had his best game of the season with 9 catches for 116 yards. Falcons Running Back Steven Jackson had his best game of the season with 101 yards rushing and a 55-yard run that help set up the Falcons first touchdown of the game. Falcons Kicker Matt Bryant five field goals helped the Falcons win and stay tied for first place in the NFC South division.

Cardinals Quarterback Drew Stanton threw for 294 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Cardinals Wide Receiver Jaron Brown led Arizona with 7 catches for 75 yards. The Cardinals only rushed for 35 total yards on 11 attempts and wasn’t able to move the ball on the ground. The Cardinals are 9-3 and still in first place in the NFC West division.

The Falcons are 3-2 in their last five games and will need to go at least 3-1 in their last four games to win their division.
