Rick Ross’s ‘Hood Billionaire’ Mall Takeover [PHOTOS]

Rick Ross released his seventh studio album Hood Billionaire on November 24th and just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Did the timing make a difference in record sales? Early numbers suggest that Hood Billionaire will hit approximately $70-75K in sales, which include digital sales and audio streams. This is not too shabby for the MMG CEO who also released Mastermind, his sixth studio album earlier this year.

To help push the new project, Rick Ross hit up several major cities to promote the album. He even showed love to the city of Atlanta, which has been Ross’s 2nd home for several years now. For Hood Billionaire, the MMG team shut down South Dekalb Mall in East Atlanta, in conjunction with DTLR’s Community Outreach initiative. Rick Ross met with fans, signed  autographs and took photos. Although he was scheduled to bless the crowd with a short performance, the Def Jam recording artist kept it subtle with the meet-n-greet and everyone seemed appreciative of that.
