High-Fashion Drips In Paris At Mason Margiela ‘Artisinal’ Show

On Monday, January 12, 2015, luxury designer brand Mason Margiela debuted their ‘Artisanal‘ collection to a packed maison (house). The collection is a rediscovery of some sorts for the fashion house. The idea for the garments took on a eyes wide shut approach, with the usage of lacquered shells reminiscent of Arcimboldo style figures. A miniature battalion charging across a black velvet shoulder. Pearls that bring teardrops of memories to the face. Looking through the glass, discovering an elusive, rare even arrestingly strange new beauty, of muses who nonchalantly arouse your senses.
