The “Really” Moments of Grammy Awards 2015 + List of Winners

The 57th annual Grammy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles, California. From the red carpet to the actual ceremony, there were a few highlighted moments at the Staples Center. In what is supposed to be a big celebration for the music industries top talent, there is always that element of surprise that become topic of discussion for the next few days.

For 2015, things were no different. Our favorite bad gal, Rihanna, graced the red carpet in a gigantic, pink Giambattista Valli couture gown. Because fans are so used to Rih Rih wearing more sleek, revealing gowns, a large portion of the viewing public didn’t feel this look at all. Sia and her dancer Maddie Ziegler accompanied their cigarette pant suits with big blonde afro bobs, to the point where it’s hard to believe she could even see where she was going. People be doing too much sometimes. *sigh*

The biggest “oh lord” moment of the evening, however, came from hip hop’s problem child Kanye West. *giggles*

As the lovely Prince announced the winner of Album of the Year and Beck came on stage to accept his award, Ye steps on stage as if he’s going to pull another Taylor Swift stunt. But, luckily, it was a joke and Ye swiftly goes back to his seat. The crazy part about it is that Black Twitter wished he did speak up this time around. Many people believed Beyonce should have won Album of the Year.
