Guess what Reality TV fans? Your favorite show that has somehow captured the hearts of many has finally returned for its fourth season on VH1. If you missed the season premiere, I advise you to go catch up on all of the drama online and see what is to come on this season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”.

On Monday, April 27, STACKS Magazine Intern Deja Pearson caught up with “Love & Hip Hop” star, Adi “Bambi” Benson to get the inside scoop on her latest professional ventures, relationship with Scrappy and outlook on other cast members for this season. Read the full interview recap below:

What can we expect from Bambi on Love & Hip Hop this season?

Well, let me see. I mean it’s hard to be able to put it in to just one sentence. But, I mean definitely expect to see a little bit more reserved part of Bambi and more of the entrepreneur side of me. I don’t know if you know “Love & Hip Hop,” but you know we film all season, and you don’t know exactly what they’re gonna show and what they’re not gonna show. But, just in general this year, I’m just doing my thing as CEO and running all of these companies.

Shimmer_Elite_Extentions_2So I was informed that you have a new business venture entitled Shimmer Elite Extensions? Would you care to tell me more about it?

Yeah well, uh… I mean it’s just an extension of a hair line that’s based off of this company with less virgin hair in Las Vegas and they had a really nice line of hair. So just within their line, I just picked out three different textures and it’s just something that I want to offer to, you know my fans, basically all the people that love my hair. I just wanted to offer them a part of that, that’s definitely me. Something that, when they see me and they see my hair, I want to be able to offer them that same product.

Are you & Scrappy engaged? Or do still have plans to get married in the future?

Right now, I mean…we just moved in. We have a lot going on. Scrappy has a lot of stuff going on with him. We’re just trying to get him together first because I’m definitely not trying to get involved in a situation where, you know, we can’t do us. If we do decide to move forward in our relationship, I want everything else to be smooth first.

After watching the first episode of this season, fans had a lot to say about the dynamic or relationship between you, Scrappy, Erica and Momma Dee. Would you care to comment?

Well, we all don’t necessarily have a relationship. Me and Scrappy have a relationship and, of course, him and his mom have their little thing. And then Erica is just kind of there like lingering around, just being kind of thirsty and not really letting go of the situation. Like okay, get over it, move on with your life. And so she’s just trying to find a space.

How does it feel to be on reality TV? Do you ever feel that your personal space is constantly being compromised?

Oh absolutely. I mean, some days it’s really annoying, especially with this show because you’re only giving the people like a very, very small part of your life. So, it just leaves… it leaves it open for people to make all types of assumptions and you know. Because they’re only getting a small piece, so they fill in the blanks with whatever they come up with in the head.

bambi2How did you get involved with “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” in the first place?

Well, I had been living in Atlanta for a while and once Scrap and I started going out, it just kind of made sense.

Do you think your involvement with reality shows has had a positive impact on your career? Please explain why or why not.

Absolutely not. I think the opposite. Before I got on reality TV, I feel like, you know, the following that I had already established. They knew me for being Bambi the artist. And then, I would say on “Basketball Wives” that image kind of carried over. But, when I got on “Love & Hip Hop,” it just kind of turned into something kind of negative. You know what I’m saying? Because then people were judging me for my relationships as opposed to looking at me as Bambi the artist.

What’s next for Bambi?

So basically, expanding the business that I have and really focusing on them and working on some things that are going to have some longevity.

What are your social media handles so your fans can follow you?

So you can follow me on Twitter @AdizBambi & you can pretty much follow me on everything else with that handle except IG which is @adizthebam.
