Hawks Win in Washington to Even Series

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Washington Wizards 106-101 to even the series 2-2.

The Hawks head back to Atlanta for game five with the chance to keep control of home-court advantage. Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 26 points and 8 assists, this was Teague best game so far in the playoffs. Paul Millsap came out of his slump with 19 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds for the Hawks. Al Horford posted a double-double for the Hawks with 18 points and game-high 10 rebounds.

Bradley Beal scored a game-high 34 points, with a team-high 7 assists and 6 rebounds for the Wizards. Paul Pierce had 22 points and 5 rebounds for the Wizards. Ramon Sessions struggled this game with 13 points and 5 assists for the Wizards. Nene chipped in with 12 points and 7 rebounds for Washington. Marcin Gortat was a non-factor for the Wizards this game only making one out of seven shot attempts, to finish with 3 points and grabbing a team-high 8 rebounds.

Washington lost their first playoff game at home and the Wizards handed the Hawks their first playoff loss in game one of this series. The Hawks played like the number one seed finally this game and will need to continue to play like this if they wish to defeat the Wizards.
