Isn’t too late for a “no fighting” rule on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”?

Apparently, the violence has become too much for VH1 and Monami Entertainment. According to TMZ, the production team has forced a NO FIGHTING rule upon the cast of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”. As we’ve seen since season 1, cast members has had more cat fights and profanity-filled arguments than any other show on VH1. Because of this, the network says that major advertisers are now complaining about the show’s level of ratchetry. No word on if those advertisers gave an ultimatum, suggesting that AD dollars will be pulled if things didn’t change.

It’s no surprise, however, this was bound to happen. The “rule” states that if any cast member ends up fighting, he or she will immediately be cut from the episode without pay and be suspended. Possible full termination from the franchise, if warranted.

The funny thing about this “no fighting” rule is that the producers sought out these characters. Many of them come from a background of hardships and  an environment where you had to result to violence in order to survive. So, how can you expect these same people to act like they have home training, when they didn’t have none to begin with?? LOL

But, we guess you got to start somewhere. Hopefully, this will indeed pull the show into a new light.
